Community Water and Sewage Information

The Quail Hollow development initially maintained it's own sewage treatment facility that was located on the current site of the City of DeLand's lift station on Hontoon Road.  Around 2006 the City of Deland connected their sewage lines to our development, via the lift station connection, and took over the treatment process.

As a result, residents of Quail Hollow pay a monthly water bill to the Lake Beresford Water Association and a sewage treatment bill to the City of DeLand.  The sewage treatment bill is based on the amount of water a household uses during the month excluding irrigation use if the home has a separate irrigation water meter.

The Lake Beresford Water Association charges a monthly fee of $25 to read a meter plus a set dollar amount for the volume of water used during the month.
